Sigma Surveys provides comprehensive Net Internal Area (NIA) and Gross Internal Area (GIA) plans in full accordance with the RICS Code of Measuring Practice (6th Edition). Whether surveying shell-and-core structures or fully fitted-out spaces, we apply the same rigorous approach as we do to architectural building surveys, ensuring exceptional accuracy in every project.

Our process includes:

• Utilising Trimble X9 and Leica RTC360 laser scanners to measure structural elements such as walls and columns.
• Calculating areas using polylines and hatching within AutoCAD.
• Providing plans as AutoCAD compatible files and PDFs, with areas hatched in varying colours to indicate different designations of use.
• Including additional details such as lease plans, zoning, dimensions, and net & gross frontages where applicable.

If required, a Duty of Care / Letter of Reliance can also be provided.
