Reality Capture
This project was Sigma Surveys’ first Reality Capture project.
Data Collection
- 3D Point Cloud: Captured using a Leica RTC360.
- Digital Photography: Taken with a Sony Alpha rIII SLR camera and a DJI Matrice 300 UAV with Zenmuse P1 camera.
Processing
- Imported the collected data into RealityCapture software.
- Post-processed the data to create an accurate photogrammetric model for visualisation.
2D Elevations
Generated in AutoCAD, including detailed stonework for restoration purposes.
The completed model and elevations provided a detailed and visually accurate representation of the arch, aiding in its preservation and restoration.
