Sigma Surveys & Mapping Ltd was established in 2008 by Jonathan Roman, with the aim of providing high specification surveys to a wide range of clients. Jonathan has recently been joined by Richard Rennie as partner / director.
Jonathan is a member of the Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors and has over 14 years experience in land and building surveying, having worked for some of the biggest companies in the UK. He believes that the experience and skills gained enable Sigma Surveys to produce highly accurate and professional drawings using the latest surveying technology.
Richard has over 13 years experience in land and building surveying and has a wealth of knowledge in civil engineering surveying. Richard left a site management position to help develop Sigma Surveys into a leading geomatics organisation.
Over the years Jonathan and Richard have worked with many different types of equipment, some of which in their opinion are far superior in terms of output and accuracy. Setting up Sigma Surveys has allowed them to invest in the best survey equipment and with their vast knowledge of surveying procedures; they would welcome the opportunity to work with old and new clients on their survey requirements.
The company has recently registered with Constructionline and has been accepted into The Survey Association (TSA).
